What You'll See and Do
Day 1: Wrangell to Telegraph Creek
• Scenic Voyage: Navigate through the breathtaking Coast Range mountains, experiencing three distinct climate and forest zones.
• Historic Sites: Pass through the Little Canyon and the Three Sisters, and witness the challenging Bad Rapids where old riverboats once used winch systems to be pulled upstream.
• Arrival at Telegraph Creek: Settle in at the Historic Stikine Riversong Lodge, formerly the “Old Hudson Bay Trading Post,” relocated to Telegraph Creek in 1900 during the Yukon Gold Rush.
• Dinner: Enjoy family style dinner at the Stikine Riversong Café.
Day 2: Telegraph Creek Exploration
• Cultural Immersion: Discover the rich history of Telegraph Creek, nestled in the heart of Tahltan territory.
• Local Attractions: Visit the Stikine River Museum, filled with fascinating local history.
• Scenic Drive: Take a driving tour to the confluence of the Tahltan and Stikine Rivers, and marvel at the Grand Canyon of the Stikine.
